About Me – Biography
Annette Gräfe is known for live music across a wide variety of genres.
After 15 years as a member of the pop and folk choir “Monday Monday,” she began performing solo with her acoustic guitar in 2003.
Some of her original songs were created in collaboration with international musicians and, along with numerous cover songs, can be found on her YouTube channel.
Her roots lie primarily in American and international folk music. She has performed on stage in Florida, Arkansas, and Mississippi alongside local musicians.
She also has a passion for country music. The influences of Johnny Cash, The Carter Family, Emmylou Harris, and many other country musicians are unmistakable. For two years, she performed as a singer with the Oberbergisch country band “The Old Bones,” playing guitar and banjo.
From 2016 to 2020, she was the singer for Phase Locked Loop from the Oberbergisch region and EmptyVE from Kierspe, both progressive and crossover rock bands.
Whether performing solo, in various duos, or as part of musical projects, her repertoire is very extensive. Her program includes English-language songs, German-language songs, Irish folk, country, soulful ballads, classics from pop and rock history, and—depending on the occasion—folk songs, classic pop hits, Christmas music, and musical accompaniment for almost any type of event.
From 2024 to 2026, she was a choir singer for two and a half years with the Oberberg choir “The Voices” from Bergneustadt.
